JOIN THE GAHANNA BASKETBALL ACADEMY

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

The Gahanna Basketball Academy is open to students in grades 3–6 who reside within Gahanna-Jefferson Township. Players may attend Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools, a private or charter school, be homeschooled or attend another school outside the district.

HOW THE ACADEMY WORKS

Every player enters the Academy as a developing basketball player—not simply as a candidate for a roster. Players are evaluated based on current skills, basketball understanding and competitive readiness, then provided a development and competition pathway appropriate to where they are today.

Readiness determines the level. Opportunity determines the roster. Development remains the goal.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER REGISTRATION?

Register → Evaluate → Determine Readiness → Academy Placement → Develop & Compete

Registration begins the Academy process. It does not guarantee placement on a specific competitive roster. Evaluations help coaches understand each player’s current readiness and identify the development and competitive opportunities that best support continued growth.
